Volunteer program

Volunteers are people referred by our friends and contacts or presented by specialized organizations, with moral solvency, that can support any Unamonos Program.

As soon as the volunteer arrives at Unamonos, they take a guided tour of all the Programs and, according to their abilities and needs, they choose which one to support. Some volunteers who stay with us for long periods can participate in various Programs. Your help is always very valuable; They can arrive at different times of the year and their permanence is variable.

What are the skills required in a volunteer?

Languages: your native language. At Unamonos we communicate in many ways. If there is will, there is communication.

Training: any profession is valid, but we prefer humanities careers.

Experience: the life experience of a person of legal age.

Personal qualities: with a vocation for service, social sensitivity and willingness to learn.

What is the usual working hours?

From 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

How do we support the volunteer?

We can link the volunteer with host families and depending on the length of their stay, support them with individual mentors.
